Dr. Huque obtained her undergraduate education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. She received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1990. Dr. Huque has received awards from the American Academy of Oral Pathology and was a recipient of the Mosby Scholarship for Scholastic Excellence. She has been an associate of Smile Dental Group since 1992. Her joy and her expertise are in treating small children and she has limited her dental practice to children for the past six years.
Houston Dentist - Dr. Andrew Gamache - Northeast Office
Dr. Andrew Gamache received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Westmount College in Santa Barbara, California in 2000. He received his dental degree in 2005 from the University of Southern California, where he was on the Dean’s list and was honored with several service and leadership awards. Dr. Gamache has participated in humanitarian dental outreach projects in Mexico, Belize and Costa Rica, as well as in California.
Dr. Gamache joined Smile Dental Group in 2007, after relocating to Houston from Los Angeles. His philosophy is to provide complete oral health care and cosmetic dental treatment – including Lumineers and metal-free partial dentures.
Houston Dentist - Dr. Joe T. Prasifka - Southwest Team
Dr. Joe T. Prasifka received his B.A. in Chemistry from SMU and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1974. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Esthetic Dentistry. He is certified in Lumineers cosmetic veneers as well as sedation dentistry and is specially trained in oral surgery. His friendly and outgoing personality creates a relaxing, positive experience for his patients.
Houston Dentist - Dr. J. Morency
Dr. J. D. Morency graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago in 1973. He attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine, receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in 1977. He then received a Master of Science from Harvard in Prosthetic Dentistry. During this post-doctoral training, he was awarded a teaching fellowship and has been instructing other dentists in the technique, art and science of dentistry for over 25 years. From 1979 to 1983, Dr. Morency served as an officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, achieving the title of Chief Prosthodontist and the rank of Lt. Commander. After many years in private dental practice in Houston, Dr. Morency has joined Smile Dental Group at our West Houston office.
